NOMINATING COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS

In accordance with the Credit Union's Bylaws, a Nominating Committee was appointed in October 2012 to select nominees for vacancies on the Board of Directors as terms expire when the Annual Membership Meeting is held on March 21, 2013. The Committee submitted the following nominees for election to the Board of Directors for three-year terms: Darrell E. Adkins, Peter Flynn, Dr. Susan C. Turner, and Jounice Nealy-Brown. Since there were no nominations by petition to oppose these nominees, they will be declared duly elected at the Annual Meeting. Nominations may NOT be made from the floor at the meeting.

Supervision

The Credit Union operates under the laws of the United States of America and is supervised by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. Examiners of the NCUA make annual examinations to ensure proper operation of the Credit Union.

The Credit Union's Board of Directors appoints a Supervisory Committee that is responsible for making an examination of the affairs of the Credit Union, including an annual audit of its books by a CPA. Details of all the financial affairs of the Credit Union's members are held in strict confidence by the Credit Union's officers, committeemen, and staff.
